MAY-OCTOBER: Regular booked maple tours will commencing on Tuesday May 20th....... - and end on Friday Oct 10th...... unless otherwise noted (Special Saturdays in October 11, 18 and 25)) All tours are in English. Tours will be conducted ONLY 4 days a week with one (1) tour per day on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays (unless otherwise noted). Start time is 10:00 A.M. and lasts approximately 75 minutes ending in the maple kitchen and gift shop. Please allow enough time for your arrival as we may have numerous different parties attending. We always plan to start "on time"so your consideration in this matter is appreciated. If you plan on using your GPS please use the GPS coordinates found on the Sugarbush Hill website under "Contact" not Google, as these will bring you to a wrong road.

The maple tour is conducted entirely in the sugarhouse so the tour will not be affected by outside weather conditions. You are welcome to stroll through our maple forest after the tour. Please dress appropriately for a forest stroll during any season with proper footwear, long pants, long sleeved shirts and bring mosquito repellent with you.

If visitors are unable to attend a regularly scheduled tour you are welcome to do a self guided walk through at other times (no charge) during our business hours. If you have any questions before or afterwards, one of the SBH staff working in our maple shop will be pleased to answer any of your questions.

GENERAL TOUR INFO: The maple tour is conducted entirely in the sugarhouse so it will not be effected by outside weather. Please dress appropriately during cooler months as the sugarhouse is NOT heated. The maple kitchen and maple gift shop are both heated. The complete maple process will be explained to you with the various steps of how maple syrup is made, starting with the sap coming from the trees to finishing in the maple kitchen with tastings of our syrup and various maple value added products. Throughout the maple tour questions are encouraged and welcomed. One of the largest maple antique and artifact collections in all of Ontario are also on display and seen throughout the maple tour with some of their histories discussed for your added in-depth enjoyment.

Please note, our tours are geared more for the mature visitor as technical and detailed topics are discussed during the 75 minute time frame. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the production area or the maple shop, they are however permitted on the property but must be kept under control at all times and be supervised. Thank-you for your understanding and cooperation.

Thank-you for your interest in our Sugarbush Hill Maple Farm tours and we’ll see you soon.
