Welcome to Sugarbush Hill Maple Farm
Sugarbush Hill is a “State of the Art” sugaring operation in the heart of Muskoka, district of countless lakes and endless forests. Situated just 10 minutes south of the picturesque Town of Huntsville, gateway to Algonquin Park and home of the 2010 G8 Summit, Sugarbush Hill is family owned and operated by Tom and Pauline Stehr.
We have a 100 acre sugarbush with 50 acres of forest currently tapped for maple syrup production.
There are over 3200 taps on a 30 km food grade tubing system with high vacuum. We are wood fired with a wood gasification evaporator assisted by a reverse osmosis machine.
We offer locally produced, year round sales, of maple syrup, candy, cream and sugar all produced to the highest of standards. 100% pure, natural, and of course always delicious. Nothing says thank-you quite like a Sugarbush Hill Bucket loaded with maple goodies. Prepared according to your wishes for any of your gift giving needs and occasions.
We have a very convenient roadside location for easy access to our brand new board and batten sugarhouse. See the latest in modern maple equipment and technology, up close! Taste complimentary samples of all grades of maple syrup in our maple kitchen. Stroll our maple forest or simply have your maple questions answered, we’d love to do that for you.
Fall colour bus tours are welcome for your premier “Muskoka Maple Experience” stop. Book early to avoid disappointment.
During the sugaring season months of March and April, when winter turns into spring, if you are nearby and see plumes of steam rising from our cupola you know we’re hard at work boiling sap into syrup. Please drop in and witness a Canadian heritage at its finest.
Remember, we love talking maple and you’re always welcome!
